A woman has been jailed in India for the brutal murder of her husband.
The woman, identified as Puja, was convicted in Haryana state in a case where the victim was chopped into eight pieces after being killed.
She was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Four other people were acquitted after the court decided Puja was solely responsible for the crime.
Police believe she wanted to be rid of her husband after engaging in an extramarital affair.
The headless body of the victim was found in a suitcase at the couple’s house by the man’s brother, after he had complained to police that his sibling had gone missing.
