A person has been killed in a clash with security forces attempting to find three abducted police officers in India.
Authorities claim the three officers were abducted during a traditional ceremony in a village in the Khunti district of Jharkhand state.
Reports say hundreds of villagers were made to sit in an open field under custody whilst simultaneous raids were being conducted.
It is claimed tensions flared, with one villager killed and several others injured in a police baton charge.
