The uncle of three siblings who were found killed in northern India has been arrested for their murder.
The three children, aged three, eight and 11, were discovered in Panchkula’s Morni forest in Kurukshetra on Tuesday morning, 21 November.
Jagdeep Malik, 26, has been taken into custody, suspected of murdering the children by shooting them at point-blank range.
Local reports say Malik has confessed to the crime and has alleged the children’s father, Sonu Malik, asked his cousin to carry out the killings. He has also been arrested.
Police have not declared a motive but relatives of the family are reported as believing the reason was due to an extramarital affair of the children’s father.
