Two terrorists killed in northern Kashmir battle

Two terrorists were killed when a gun battle broke out on Sunday evening, 14 May, in northern Kashmir.

The battle took place between security forces and Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in north Kashmir's Waripora village in the Kupwara district.

A police source claimed that the encounter was triggered by the alleged terrorists.

The source said the two terrorists were hiding inside a village house but when security forces approached they opened fire.

No security personnel or civilians were hurt in the attack.
