At least two people have been killed in a suspected assassination attempt on a religious scholar in Pakistan.
Mufti Mohammad Taqi Usmani survived the attack by unidentified gunmen on a flyover in Karachi.
Dawn News reports that two guards were killed after vehicles were shot at by pillion riders.
It is believed two others, including a bystander, were also injured.
