Twelve killed after van collides with toll booth in Pakistan

At least 12 people have died after a van hit a toll booth on a motorway in Pakistan.

The crash occurred at a toll plaza near to Islamabad when a speeding passenger van carrying 17 people hit the building and immediately caught fire.

Motorway police said the van was believed to have been heading from Sargodha and five other passengers are in a critical condition in hospital.
