An Indian boy who was killed by a train was believed to have been taking a selfie.
The teenager, identified as Arbaz, was killed near to the Welcome railway station in Northeast Delhi on Monday afternoon, 2 October.
Police suspect he may not have heard the train coming as he could have been wearing headphones at the time of the collision.
The Times of India has recently published research showing that the country is responsible for most of the world’s deaths resulting from taking a selfie.
The media outlet claims that in 2016 there were 76 deaths in India attributed to taking a selfie. Pakistan had the second most deaths, with nine.
