New research has found that South Asian countries have some of the highest rates in the world of deaths linked to pollution.
The report, published in the Lancet, looked at data from 2015 and claims that one in six deaths, totalling 9 million, could be linked to the effects of pollution.
Bangladesh was revealed as the worst country for such deaths, with India coming fifth and Pakistan 10th.
The study states that air pollution had the biggest impact, accounting for two-thirds of deaths from pollution.
