Delhi police have arrested seven people for allegedly breaking into the residence of MP Manoj Tiwari and attacking his staff members on Monday, 1 May.
Two of the apprehended suspects are brothers, identified as Jai Kumar and Jaswant.
The brothers were travelling in a car which bumped into a vehicle driven by one of Tiwari's staff, just outside the MP's house in Delhi.
The brothers then called their friends, who entered the residence and assaulted the MP's staff with rods.
The police have said the act was caught on CCTV cameras installed on the premises.
The police had earlier dismissed the incident as road rage but later admitted it may have been a planned attack.
