Seven dead in Pakistan van blaze

    Seven people have died as a result of a van fire in Pakistan.

    Six people were killed and 24 others wounded when a van caught fire on Sunday, 2 July, in Multan.

    Police and rescue sources said that the fire was caused by a short circuit.

    One more victim died at the Nishtar Hospital in Multan this morning, 3 July.

    Hospital sources said that the victim was a four-year-old.

    According to local sources at least 40 people were on board two vans travelling to Multan for a family picnic when the tragedy took place.
