The family of a girl whose body was found in a drain in Lahore mounted protests by blocking motorway traffic.
Uzma, 16, went missing three days ago and police registered a case of kidnapping against unidentified persons.
Authorities said her body was found on Sunday 20 January in Iqbal Town.
Dawn News reports that the girl had been working as a maid at a house in the area for eight months.
Relatives blocked traffic in protest, after claiming the girl’s employers tortured her to death and disposed of the body in the drain to make it look accidental.
The couple who hired Uzma have since been arrested.
