Police leave teenagers to die in India

An investigation has been launched after police in India allegedly left two teenagers to die following a road traffic collision.

Two young men died in Saharanpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, after three police officers refused to transport them to the nearest hospital. It has been reported that they did not want to get blood stains in the car.

A video of the incident, in which the teenagers are seen lying on the floor whilst a bystander pleads to the officers for help, has since gone viral.

The officers responsible are now under investigation.
