Pakistan said it will free an Indian pilot captured on its territory.
Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was detained after his India Air Force jet was shot down on Wednesday, as tensions rose with India over the disputed region of Kashmir.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed the decision to return the pilot in parliament, saying that his country was focused on de-escalation. India's military welcomed the move.
