Pakistan successfully carry out ballistic missile launch training

    Pakistan have successfully carried out training for the launch of a new ballistic missile.

    Director General, Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Asif Ghafoor confirmed on Thursday that Pakistan has successfully carried out night training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile, Ghaznavi.

    Major General Ghafoor posted information about the launch on Twitter, writing that the missile can deliver multiple types of warheads up to 290 kilometres, before congratulating Pakistan on the success of the launch.

    Earlier in May, Pakistan had conducted successful training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Shaheen-II which is capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads up to a range of 1500 kilometers.
