Pakistan special court has issued a symbolic order for former military ruler Pervez Musharraf after he was sentenced to death for treason.
The order stated that should Musharraf die before his execution, his corpse should be dragged to parliament and left to hang for three days.
The former Prime Minister of Pakistan is currently in ill health and subsequently receiving medical treatment in Dubai.
Musharraf travelled to Dubai after a travel ban was lifted in 2016 and he has refused to appear before the court, despite multiple orders.
Subsequently, he was tried in absentia and sentenced to death after a three-member court found him guilty of a high treason charge that has been pending since 2013.
The verdict was announced Tuesday with a 2-1 majority.
