Pakistan and the USA will be looking to revive diplomatic ties as Islamabad sends its foreign secretary to the states.
Tehmina Janjua will be arriving for a series of meetings with senior American officials starting on Tuesday 6 March.
This follows a surprise trip to Islamabad last week by a senior Trump official, Lisa Curtis, who spoke of the need to build a new relationship with Pakistan.
