A rights activist in Pakistan has thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for her release following 30-hours of detention.
Gulalai Ismail and 17 other people associated with the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement were taken into custody following a protest outside Islamabad Press Club earlier this week.
The group call for a number of issues to be addressed, including the removal of mines from former tribal areas and an end to the practices of extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances and unlawful detentions.
Ismail was released on Wednesday night, but the others who were arrested remain in custody.
