Around 90 people were injured after a tent collapsed during a speech by India’s Prime Minister.
Narendra Modi was at a public rally in West Bengal’s Midnapore but managed to escape injury along with other members of his party on stage.
Reports say he attended hospital to see those hurt. None are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
Organisers said heavy rains and people climbing on iron rods holding up the canopy led to a part of the tent giving way.
