Man kills sister outside Lahore court

A boy killed his sister when he opened fire outside Lahore High Court’s Multan bench.

According to officials the woman, identified as Kulsoom, married a man named Rafaqat a few months ago but her family filed a case against their marriage at the court.

When the couple arrived at court for a hearing yesterday, 8 August, Kulsoom’s 17-year-old brother opened fire on them near to the entrance gate.

The boy shot his sister in the head, killing her on the spot. Her husband is believed to have sustained serious injuries.

The brother was arrested immediately and taken into custody.
