Reports have suggested a motion of no-confidence is to be moved against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The motion will be moved by the Indian National Congress Party leader in the lower house of India’s parliament, Mallikarjun Kharge, who has been reaching out to other opposition parties to garner support.
A three-line whip has been issued to the party’s MPs, with the motion expected to take place on Tuesday 27 March.
