Property has been set on fire in protests at an Indian university following the alleged suicide of a student.
Students at Sathyabhama University in Chennai began protests on Wednesday, 22 November, claiming that an 18-year-old hanged herself after being caught cheating in an exam and sent outside of the examination hall.
Protesters say the student was humiliated by university staff.
They set fire to furniture and mattresses before being dispersed by police early this morning.
