An Indian politician, who went on the run after allegedly running over and killing nine children, has surrendered to the police.
Police say Manoj Baitha was driving an SUV which was involved in the incident on Saturday 24 February in the northern state of Bihar. He denies the claim and had been on the run up until he handed himself in.
India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), of which Mr Baitha is a local leader, have suspended him from the party for six years.
The local opposition party claims the suspect was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The children - who were aged between seven and 13 - were returning home from school when the incident took place.
