A judge in India was stabbed at least three times whilst working in his office.
Justice Vishwanatha Shetty was attacked at the anti-corruption ombudsman building where he works in the southwest state of Karnataka today (7 March).
Mr Shetty was rushed to hospital where he is reported to be in a stable condition.
Sources say a suspect, identified as Tejas Sharma, has been arrested in connection with the incident. It is believed he had filed a case of corruption against an official which was recently closed.
It is claimed he was able to enter the office with a weapon because of a fault with a metal detector at the premises.
