Police in India say they have arrested a man after he arrived at a police station carrying his wife’s severed head in a bag.
The man, identified as Satish SG, arrived at the station in Chikmagalur district in Karnataka state and confessed to killing his wife. He has been charged with murder.
He is alleged to have killed her because he suspected she was in an extra-marital relationship.
A senior police official added that the suspect's wife had earlier come to the police for help.
