Imran Khan orders probe into Hindu temple attack

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered an investigation into an attack on a Hindu temple.

Assailants set fire to statues and holy books before fleeing the temple in Khairpur's Kumb area earlier this week.

Khan said the Sindh government "must take swift and decisive action against the perpetrators" of the attack. He added: “This is against the teachings of the Quran."

No one has claimed responsibility for Monday's attack and local police are continuing their efforts to trace and arrest those involved.
