Housewife jumps from fourth floor flat in South Bombay

A 40-year-old housewife from Dhobi Talao committed suicide by jumping from her brother-in-law's fourth floor flat around 12.30 pm on Sunday.

Officials have reported that the deceased, Roopa Shah, was found lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor of Ramnaam Mansion near Metro Cinema.

Roopa was declared dead before admission to GT Hospital near Crawford Market.

Police have said Roopa did not jump from her flat as its balcony had a grille and family members of the deceased will be questioned.
