Four killed in India military camp ‘scuffle’

    A paramilitary soldier shot dead four of his colleagues at a camp in India.

    The incident took place on Saturday, 8 December, in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh state at a base of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

    A spokesperson from CRPF said 35-year-old Sanath Kumar opened fire with an AK-47 assault rifle "following a scuffle with other personnel".

    Mr Kumar has been detained and an investigation into the incident is underway.
