Five people have died in a fire that broke out in a bakery in Lahore.
The blaze was believed to have been ignited due to an electrical fault at the property in Barkat Market yesterday morning (3 April).
People had to be rescued from the higher floors of the building after they had not managed to escape. Officials blamed a lack of fire alarms.
Police said the owner of the property has since been arrested as the victims had no means to escape from the building.
