Five arrested following shootout in Delhi

Five men were arrested following an exchange of gunfire in Delhi.

A joint team made up of officers from Punjab and Delhi police forces raided the office of a property dealer in south west Delhi on Tuesday morning, 21 November, when the occupants of the building opened fire.

Local media reports claim the suspects were overpowered and that no one was injured in the incident. The men were arrested with what has been described as a “huge cache of arms”.

It is believed the authorities were searching for a wanted criminal from the Punjab area.
