An 8-year-old Indian boy was killed in an attack by a group of stray dogs.
Reports say the child was on his way to a temple in Uttar Pradesh state when the animals rounded on him.
Passers-by attempted to help the boy but to no effect. The police said they are unable to lodge a complaint but are looking towards local government bodies to financially help the deceased’s family.
