Balochistan government to compensate bus fire victims

    The local government in Pakistan’s Balochistan province is to offer compensation to the families of those who lost their lives in a recent collision involving a bus and a truck.

    27 people were killed after the vehicles crashed near to Bela City. The bus caught fire and both vehicles were destroyed in the blaze.

    It is believed 33 people were travelling on the bus, which had left Karachi for Panjgur.

    The Balochistan government said it will hand out Rs10m to the victims’ families.

    Police have registered a case against the owner and the driver of the bus.
