At least 15 people have been killed in storms that hit West Bengal.
Winds topping 100kmph lashed the region, including in Kolkata, disrupting travel and affecting power supplies.
Seven people were killed in Kolkata and six in Howrah. Two people were struck by lightning in the south of West Bengal.
Weather officials said rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue for several days.
