13 Pakistani prisoners who were incarcerated in India have been released.
The group, which included two women and a child born in captivity, were handed over to Pakistan Rangers at the Wagah-Attari border.
Local reports claim the two women, Mumtaz and Fatima, were apprehended on charges of drug trafficking after travelling to India via the Samjhauta Express in 2006. Fatima's 10-year-old daughter Hina was born in captivity, as Fatima was pregnant at the time of her arrest.
Over the past week 68 Indian fishermen were released by Pakistani authorities from Karachi’s Malir jail.
