Sleeping Beauty - Halifax's Spellbinding Family Panto
Come and join us at the Victoria Theatre Halifax for the magical family friendly pantomime Sleeping Beauty this Christmas.

When the wicked fairy Carabosse’s evil curse causes the princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into an enchanted sleep can anyone rescue her from the magical slumber before it is too late?

Sleeping Beauty will have everything you have come to expect from the Victoria Theatre pantomime with an hilarious comic, an outrageous dame, a delightfully wicked baddie, marvellous musical numbers and tons of slapstick fun.

Sleeping Beauty is presented once again by our pantomime production company Imagine Theatres who have been producing Halifax's Christmas pantomimes at the Victoria Theatre for over a decade. Previous panto productions presented at the Victoria Theatre Halifax by Imagine Theatres have included Jack and the Beanstalk, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Aladdin. Peter Pan, Dick Whittington and Cinderella.

The Side of Stage Signed Performance (Tuesday 13 December at 10.15am) aims to improve access to the pantomime for hearing impaired people who use British sign Language (BSL). The interpreter stands stage left and interprets the performance for the audience.

Integrated Signed Performances (Wednesday 28 December at 6:30pm & Thursday 29 December at 2:00pm) include two BSL interpreters who are involved in the action on stage and take part in the performances!

The Relaxed Performance (Thursday 30 December at 10:30am) is designed to be welcoming to everyone and especially to adults and children who may feel unable to access theatre performances for a variety of reasons, for example, parents/carers with noisy infants, people who need or want to move around and/or vocalise during the performance, people with dementia, autism or with other complex access or inclusion needs.

We're excited to announce the return of JOSH BENSON and ADAM STAFFORD as comic and dame in this year's pantomime at the Victoria Theatre Sleeping Beauty.

This will be the third time Josh and Adam have teamed up in Halifax and their partnership has proved a smash hit with audiences.
