Made from more than a hundred fragments of archive film, Echoes of the North is a new silent film with a live brass band score. Travel down the highways and byways of northern life a century ago - its industries and rural life, its wartimes and festivals, its holidays, family excursions and huge, city-wide occasions - accompanied by Neil Brand's new music, performed live by the world-famous Brighouse & Rastrick Band.

Presented by Yorkshire Silent Film Festival.
