A motorist ended up in court after driving into a Bradford Council parking officer.

Irfaz Zaib, 27, of Lower Rushton Road, Thornbury, pleaded guilty to Assault and careless driving at Bradford Crown Court yesterday (26/04/10).

The court heard that Zaib’s Volkswagen Polo struck the Civil Enforcement Officer on Southgate, Bradford, on 4 August 2009, after he was spoken to about his parking.

He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to the Civil Enforcement Officer, and fined £400 with three penalty points for the careless driving.
