Four of Bradford Council's top management will be abseiling from Central Library for the Lord Mayor's Appeal on Saturday.
The abseil from Bradford's Central Library will take place on Saturday 24 April. It is the seventh annual abseil.
Tony Reeves, Chief Executive, Moira Wilson, Strategic Director of Adult and Community Services, Mary Weastall, Strategic Director of Performance and Commissioning and Becky Hellard, Strategic Director of Corporate Services, will all be taking part.
Six Sea Cadets, including the Lord Mayor's Cadet Naomi Middleton, will be taking part.
The youngest person taking part is seven-years-old and the oldest is 74-years-old.
Last year the event raised £6,700 for the Lord Mayor's Appeal.
This year the appeal is supporting Little Heroes Cancer Trust and Bradford and District Senior Power.
The event was initially organised by a group of students from Leeds Metropolitan University as part of their Events Management course. The same group of students continued to organise the event on an annual basis as a memorial of one of their fellow students and organiser David Plunkett who died shortly after the first abseil.
Lord Mayor of Bradford Coun John Godward said: "I admire everyone taking part for their bravery. This is a great opportunity to have a unique view of the city and raise some money for two worthwhile causes."
